L'elfin Gymnastics was established in 1978 and since that time has become the leading Rhythmic Gymnastics School in the Sutherland Shire. L'elfin is a recognized member of Gymnastics New South Wales and Gymnastics Australia and is Star 3 accredited with both organisations, within the top rank of all Gymnastics providers in the Sutherland Shire.

2012 was an exciting year for L'elfin Gymnastics, joining with the Southern Stars Cheerleaders, and being nominated for NSW Cheerleading Club of the Year.

In 2013 L'elfin acknowledged a need for Rhythmic based programs in the Illawarra Region, NSW and in May of that year L'elfin expanded its program to include Rhythmic Gymnastics and Kindygym in Bulli.

What is Rhythmic Gymnastics?

Rhythmic Gymnastics is the most beautiful Olympic sport, and is the perfect sport to teach body awareness and control - skills that will assist in the development of athletic potential for any sporting endeavour.

The sport develops posture, co-ordination and agility, as well as improving strength and flexibility. Gymnasts perform to music with hand-held apparatus, including ribbon, rope, hoop, ball and clubs. Routines can be performed individually, in pairs and trios or groups.

What is Cheerleading?

Cheerleading is an exciting and challenging gymsport that involves music, dance, cheers, tumbling and stunts. Leadership and teamwork are developed to benefit the individual's health and potential in life.
Cheerleaders develop team spirit and morale by participating in exhilarating exercise in a fun-filled atmosphere.
